Dear friends, God has put the opportunity of doing a DTS in my life! For all of you that don’t know what that is, “DTS” stands for Discipleship Training School, where people go to learn about God and show His wonderful love to others. There are two phases of DTS; the first phase is the lecture phase where we learn how to show others God’s love, and the second one is where you go to a place God calls your team and spread God’s love and kindness. God does a lot of work in you through out DTS. Even through being at YWAM God has worked so much on me. God has shown me things that He wants me to work on, which caused so much pain but brings so much hope. He brought me closer to Him and is teaching me to make Him my refuge, my father, my comforter, and my best friend.
We are going to the Philippines for our outreach and need a lot of prayer and support from you my friends. Pray that we show how good our God is, and how strong His love is. Prayer that there would be as much change in our lives as we put in other lives. Pray the Holy Spirit will protect us from things that are not from the Lord.
Our DTS will be fundraising for our trip to Manila in the next couple of months. I will let you know how much we need to raise. If you want to give now to support my trip (we will be there for three months), you can use the same support button as for my family. You can just make a note that it is for “DTS Philippines Outreach”. (If you use the YWAM website, be sure to write “Habiba Fichtinger” also.) We will learn more about Manila as we get closer to outreach also, and I will send you more prayer requests then.
